I was worshipping God, along with the CD-You Are My World. While I was asking God to show me His glory, he told me 3 things.

One was on humility. God did not want me to think that I am more mature in faith and have a closer relationship with Him than my fellow peers. I learnt this when I tried to ask God to fix the problem with VCD when the pictures started to wane. He was not unhappy with my request but rather He knew there was pride in me that cause me to think that God will surely answer my request since I've been worshipping Him for quite a while. So, the Lord showed me what it means to be humble!

The other was an assurance that His love will never leave me wherever I go. He reminded me this verse- "Where can I go from your love..." His command was for me to remain in his Love and let it surround me.

The third was when I started to ask God for a sign that His glory was there with me. I asked God to lift my right hand. But nothing happened...other than my own muscules reacting. Through this, God taught me not to let the focus shift from Him to me. When I asked Him from a sign, it showed that I have pride in the fact that the all-powerful God was with me rather than seeking for His glory so that I may have a Holy life.

God's words are a lamp to to my feet and a light to my path. Amen!
