God is indeed wonderful...and GREAT...He calms the raging seas...and Still The STORMS in my life...My Reason 4 living...my Joy...my Delight...my ALL...the Still Small Voice...merciful...gracious...b'cos-
HE IS MY LIFE!!!
A few days ago, I had a quarrel with my fren who tried to say that the Concert Band I was in did not deserve the Gold with Honours Award for the SYF. In a fit of anger, I insulted his choir conductor. For the following days, he started to ignore me and was cold towards me. I felt that I had broken the relationship in a moment of anger and that caused me to be upset and worried. But, I prayed.
I asked God to heal the wounds of my friend's heart, but that was not b4 I repented of the hurtful words I said. I believe he answered. Two days ago, he called me to tell me that he was not angry anymore and that he had forgiven me. What great joy filled my heart!
Yes..i know the reason why...God saved the day!
If today, you are feeling down, weary and upset, even with God...won't you just say a simple prayer:
"Lord, the things around me are falling down. I do not understand why but I trust in You and I believe by faith, that You will be with me through these troubled times, and that you have the Power to calm the storms I am facing now. I lay my worries, fears and circumstances at your feet. And I trust that You will lift me out of my circumstances in your perfect Time. I put my Hope in You. In Jesus's name, Amen."
Go on...say it!

Hi Friends,
Over the last few months, I have written 2 articles pertaining to the topic of waiting on the Lord. This article is the result of a further understanding of this theme as I continue to wait on the Lord. Hope that it will encourage and strengthen those who are still waiting.
In Him ALONE is our Hope,
Benedict
The Parable of the Unfair Judge
During Jesus's ministry, he told about a parable about a woman who had been wronged and wanted justice. However, the judge that she went to was an unfair judge, who was not concern about her affairs. She did not give up but kept asking him to grant her the justice she deserved. At last, due to her persistence, the unfair judge gave into to this woman's request and granted her justice.
What Does This Tell Us?
Since last time that I wrote, the Lord has been gracious and I can sense that He is bringing the waiting period to an end. Thus, I kept asking, asking and asking for His calling for me to be fufilled. For I understood this parable to be one that God encourages us to persevere in prayer until we see something happen.
Although this is true, I realised that this was not the point that Jesus wanted to bring through. My father, hearing me quote this parable for this purpose, told me that Jesus was trying to express the goodness of the Father to those He love. Jesus said that even an unfair judge, when asked fervently by someone, would grant him justice, wouldn't our Heavenly Father give good gifts to those who love Him.
Our God is one who loves us. The bible says that the Father, with the son, give us richly all good things to enjoy. That meant that it is not about whether my asking will take effect but whether the Lord wants to give it to me.
But, we can all rest in the Hope that the Lord knows His plans, plans to prosper you, to give you hope and a future.
A Lie to Beware while waiting...
That lie is that when you ask God, expect something to happen fast. That is not true. Yes, when we pray, we pray in anticipation but not that after praying, we expect God to immediately make something happen. We must learn to rest in God's divine timing.
IN HIS TIME, He makes ALL THINGS BEAUTIFUL...IN HIS TIME...
What ARE Your DREAMS made of?
If you ask nine out of ten Christians what their dreams are made of, theywill tell you that they want to become for God and so on...
But listen to Daniel Chua's song- "King of Love":
And my dreams are made of this...the reality of a kiss...from the King of Love.
I believe that every Christian's dream should be to please God's heart. The rest of the ambitions and hopes of service for God should be built on this simple dream. When we are waiting, it seems so difficult to turn our attentions from unfufilled "dreams" when actually our one and only true dream is to please the King of Love.
