Dear beloved frens..
You are valued by God above even His life. He loves you- more than life..He gave up everything to draw you close to him..so that you can feel his touch..to the point of giving up his life..the God who made the universe actually came down to this earth to die, through the worst torture method in history-the Cross, for you and for me..
That is Love..We all know perfect model definitions for 'love'..but here's my: to value someone deeply & in a close way..
To love someone, is to hold the person in the deep part of your heart, and to be in close relation with the person- to know the person with your heart.
To find out what love really is..try loving Jesus- more..

Dear frens-in-christ,
Just yesterday, when I was having my quiet time, I cried out to the Lord in desperation for His glory and touch. I sensed that he wanted me to check up on a verse, concerning love. In obedience, I turned to those 'love' verses and came upon Psalms 33:18-22..
In Verse 18, it says: "But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear Him.." When you live your life in godly fear, in obedience to God's voice and living in His will, His eyes are on you. To fear Him means all of these..
The second part of verse 18 says: "on those whose hope is in His unfailing love.." There is only one place where you can be sure that when you place your hope there, it is secure. That is in His love. Why? His love is unfailing- unchanging, eternal, without fail..It can never fall.
Verse 19: "To deliver them from death.." Although it is true that God can deliver and rescue us from physical death, such as diseases and disasters, which he definitely will, I believe the psalmist was referring more to spiritual death when he mentioned it here. B'cos of God's unfailing love, he gave his son to die for our sins, thus we are reconciled to the Father in a loving relationship that births life.
The latter part of the verse says: "keep them alive in famine." The word famine, I believe, refers to spiritual hunger. God, in His own way, showed me the key to satisfying spiritual desperation- His Love. Everytime we are dry, we can run back to the His Love, which the bible says, is unfailing- it never runs dry..
Verse 20: "we wait in hope for the Lord.." "Waiting in hope" means to wait expectantly. In life, there are many periods of time that we have to wait, but our attitude in waiting is what matters. Therefore, the psalmist waits "in hope" for the Lord, meaning that he does not despair or fear but continues to put his hope, trust and expectation in God.
"he is our help and our shield.." Why do we have hope when we wait? The bible answers it clearly..He is our help and shield. He is and still is.
Verse 21: "in him our hearts rejoice..we trust in His holy name.." The Holy name of Jesus that heals, saves, binds up and restores is the name that we trust. Shouldn't our hearts rejoice?
Verse 22: "May your unfailing Love rests upon us even as we put our hope in You." Lastly, even as we hope in Him, we can have the blessed assurance of His unfailing and undying love. It is a love that cannot and will not fail us..always there for us to lean on and be a guide for us even in troubling times.
may God's Peace be upon u..

God's love is amazing..it blows us off our feet..when we think about it..b'cos of this Love..Jesus was compelled to die for us..b'cos of this Love..we can stand healed..b'cos of this Love..there is no condemnation..b'cos of this love..there is NO FEAR!
Just a few days ago at my class chalet, something fearful happened. In the middle of the night, some of us (not including me) went out of the room to have a walk. The thing was that when they came back, one of the girl was sobbing and trembling in fear. She said that she had encountered a cat..and that the cat's eyes were "shining".
During then, everybody was afraid. One of my frens said that we should pray and then requested that I pray for all of them. The sleepy me came out of bed, wore my spectacles, laid hand on the girl that was afraid and started to pray..
I just began to sense that the Lord was saying that His LOVE was able to overwhelm my frens, and to overcome all their fears, no matter what fear it is. "Perfect Love cast out all fear". I began to humble myself b4 God in weakness, saying that only He could banish everything that is evil and frightening & that is affecting my frens.
The Lord prompted me into spiritual warfare and I started to rebuke the devil, as I sensed the "fear" that my fren encountered. I claimed the promise that when I command the devil-in Jesus's name to go, he has to go..
Immediately, i sensed the peace fall in that place and began to wipe away their fears. I believed that all fears were gone bcos, in my prayer, I had claimed the promise that "..for I am convinced that neither anything in heaven and earth, or below could separate us from the Love of God.."
Only after the chalet..did I recall that the accompanying verse was "In all these things, we are more than conquerors in Christ Jesus.."
Frens, let us not lose sight of the cross on which Christ demonstrated His Love for us. Living in a world which denies the Lordship of Christ, let us not be conformed to the patterns of this world but to be constantly renewed by looking the Author and Perfector of our Faith."

"He restores my soul..." -Psalms 23
Dear frens,
God is a god who RESTORES. The word- restores hold a significant meaning for all of us. Restores means to put back, or to give back, what has been lost or taken away..
If today, you are feeling that the enemy has stolen the joy of the Lord from you, don't just sit there and do nothing. The bible says that the Joy of the Lord is our strength. We cannot live without it! Instead, get down on your knees and start to ask God to restore that joy back to your spirit. For those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, they shall be filled.
Or..if today, you feel that you have let God down, RUN into the secret Place and ask for His forgiveness. For He is faithful and Just to forgive us whenever we repent.
"Oh How many times, have I broken YOUR heart..still YOU forgive..if Only I ASK..Oh how many Times, Have you Heard me PRAY..draw NEAR to ME.."

Dear frens..
in the midst of our daily struggles..battles..difficulties..problems..
the truth is..we sometime fail..
The bible tells us that the strength of our heart..many times they fail..but God is the strength of our heart and our portion FOREVER!
Do we look to God in the midst of our worries, tension and anxieties..? Do we look to Him in our weaknesses, uncertainties and confusion?..Do we Trust In Him during moments of anger and frustration?..Do we POINT to Him in everything we do?..
For..if we do Turn TO Him in all these things, although they may carry minor importance..we are trusting God..WHEN IT COUNTS..
