Dear frens,

today..when God searches your deeds and actions, will your service be one that is unto God, or one that is unto men?

Many Christians have a distorted view of service unto God. They feel that it is only right that they adhere to the expectations of others, especially in the context of ministry, because they are "serving God". However, in fact, they are serving men.

Jesus, in His earthly ministry, did not do what men wanted him to do (in the case of Lazarus, he waited till Lazarus had died before going to the home of Lazarus, despite- I believe, many people's persistence. He waited because He listened to His Father, whom will be glorified when Jesus resurrect Lazarus.)

True service to God involves listening to the voice of God. How can you serve someone if you don't listen to Him? If you do, your service is merely doing the things that you feel must be done, and not what God actually intended for you to do. Then, that service is not unto God, it may be that it is unto men.

"Choose you this day, whom you shall serve...but for me and my household, we shall serve the Lord."

Whom are you serving today?..God or men?

Dear frens..

are you still waiting for God's promises in your life to be fufilled? Let me encourage you not to give up on it...for God's word will not return void...He doesn't calls you and then leaves you but he who calls you is faithful and will see it to completion...

the wait may seem long and the silence scary...but the Lord's hands are not too short to accomplish and fufill the things that he has promised in your life...

Be faithful, dear friends...and even though you don't seem to see the promises coming to pass..work on the things that God has called you to do with all your heart...and you will inherit the promise...

BE STILL...& know that I'm God

Hi frens,

the bible tells us to be still and know that He (God) is God. This has been the spiritual command that many Christians have applied to their life and see that their life has ever since been marked by God's holy presence. In the midst of the raging storm that threatens to overturn the boat that we are in, will we be like Jesus' disciples who were afraid and panicked?..or will we have that strong faith in God and just leave everything to Him? Will we be still and know that He is God?

I believe that this command from God is imperative to our everyday life and in our daily worship..being still beckons us to:-

1) Still (verb) any other thoughts, words and voices in Jesus' name when we are worshipping Him, praying or reading His word..this will allow our ears to be open to His voice..

2) Allowing our hearts and minds to be focused on God's word- His truth and who He is..this will strengthen us in our times of struggle..and ban the enemy from depositing thoughts that are not of God..

"Today..if u hear His voice..do not harden your hearts.."

Dear Father God,

I pray that in the midst of our busyness, difficulties and struggles in life, we will not forget to quieten our hearts and minds so that you can speak to us..to reveal your truth..that cuts through even the coldest heart..and that your truth will be deeply etched in our hearts..and that it will bear fruits for you..all these we pray in Jesus' name,

Amen.
