God is good- He is. Over the past week, it has been really difficult to give thanks and pray. At times, I just feel like throwing in the towel and surrender. But, I know in my heart, by Faith, that God is watching over me...dat He will see me through, no matter how difficult the circumstances are. yesterday night, when I quieted myself down, I just half-heartedly took out an OLD gift CD and began to listen to it. The 4th Song- went something like- "You are good, You are good, and Your love endures..." And it repeated itself. That song may be familiar to some of you..."Lord let your glory Fall" by matt redman. It touched my heart. And indeed, as I persisted in worship, God's glory fell. And I cried before God because I know, He has answered my prayer. What is it in your heart that you are praying for God to do? Come before God today and present your request to Him- in worship, believing in your heart that He is a good God and His love endures today!

Reflections

-Has serving God become our life?
Or
Just a “ministry”- one part of our routine

-Is God the Chief Builder of our lives?
Or
Is He just the God of e religion we believe in?

-Are we lifting Him up in our lives, and denying ourselves?
Or
Are we living in our own self-centered world?

We want REVIVAL to come?

Let’s let IT begin in our own lives!

Are we willing to lay down our rights, our life, our ALL at His feet? To take up the Cross and Pursue Jesus...

God He Reigns

Oh, how sweet is that declaration the God Reigns above all...that He is in control when things are out of control...that He holds the future in His hands... He knows where we are, where we've been and where we are going. And He is the Same God yesterday, today, and forevermore.

As I reflect upon my week, I see the truth that "God He Reigns" emerging. This week started great with the youth fellowship on Tues- where we begin to incline our spiritual ears to God's heart and seek Him during worship...and where we are called back to that River of Grace...and I believe the hearts that were there, that day, were strengthened in their pursuit of the Presence oF God...I pray that the experience will make them Thirst even more for the Living Waters!

But...on Tues, I was down with a flu. My head was lacking oxygen, my nose was blocked, my throat was sore...and I was spiritually and physically drained. But amidst all these, I sense that God was telling me that He Reigns even in my weakness and down-times. And He is sovereign- meaning that He decides.

Then, when I returned to school on Thurs, still, more things happened- that really made me wonder why...and these things were out of my control. but God, I knew, is in control. His providential will worked out for me. and I was just getting to know a nice girl in my class...and really, through it ALL, I am more than convinced that God- He Reigns!

"If the Lord does not build the House, the labourers labour in vain.."

Oh. How I pray that YF will be a House where God's presence will abide in...that there will be such an abundance of joy and love. And that God will build the House. Because, when God starts to build something, there is a sense of anticipation, stirring in the spirit, and desperation coming forth from God's people who are there.

The House will turn from just being "a place where we feel good with ourselves n people" to a place of vision and destiny! Where God's people learn to walk in pace with His spirit and Will.
