God He Reigns

Oh, how sweet is that declaration the God Reigns above all...that He is in control when things are out of control...that He holds the future in His hands... He knows where we are, where we've been and where we are going. And He is the Same God yesterday, today, and forevermore.

As I reflect upon my week, I see the truth that "God He Reigns" emerging. This week started great with the youth fellowship on Tues- where we begin to incline our spiritual ears to God's heart and seek Him during worship...and where we are called back to that River of Grace...and I believe the hearts that were there, that day, were strengthened in their pursuit of the Presence oF God...I pray that the experience will make them Thirst even more for the Living Waters!

But...on Tues, I was down with a flu. My head was lacking oxygen, my nose was blocked, my throat was sore...and I was spiritually and physically drained. But amidst all these, I sense that God was telling me that He Reigns even in my weakness and down-times. And He is sovereign- meaning that He decides.

Then, when I returned to school on Thurs, still, more things happened- that really made me wonder why...and these things were out of my control. but God, I knew, is in control. His providential will worked out for me. and I was just getting to know a nice girl in my class...and really, through it ALL, I am more than convinced that God- He Reigns!
