Revival is at the door, Don't let it pass U by...someone shouts "The Rain is coming". The people ignores and continues what they are doing, heeding not this person. He crys again, "Get in the boat, for the Rain is coming." Still, the people continue in their work- enjoying, making merry, living in their sin. Third time he cries, "Look! Behold, the skies are about to give Rain!" They laughed it off, thinking he is mad...but just as they were turning their backs on him, the heavens opened and down, the rain came, and they were swallowed up in the floods. Yet, only the person and his family was saved on that day while the rest perished. The person is Noah. And hear Jesus' words: "The last days will be as in the days of Noah..." Today, if the Rain of God comes down in your school, your workplace, your home...will you be ready and prepared- "a workman approved by God" or will you be found wanting? Don't get swept away by what this world holds tilll it causes you to be swept away when the King comes.

Throne-There was a Man
Long ago before your time
Before the oceans were formed
He was there.

The world He held
In the palm of His hands.
Before the heavens were made
He was there.

Bridge

But He gave up His throne
To die.
When the Cross lifted high,
That all men may be drawn to Him.

There was a Man
Who could walk on waters,
In the midst of your storm,
He stands.

Your life may be
In broken pieces
Where you cannot see now,
He stands.

How His heart broke
When He saw the world in sin,
Only Way He could rescue them.
Was to die. (to bridge)

(To end)

All He wants is to be with you
All He died for is
For you.

Today...hey...who’s going to sit on the throne of your life?

Understanding God's heart- is a tough task for many of us Christians living in a fast-paced, ever changing world. As we busy ourselves in the countless activities we are involved in, we tend to forget to stop to hear. Hear the heart of God. It is when we do that we regain our vital focus as soul-winners in life...and it is there at a listening point, that we find true rest for our souls...it is there that we learn to be gentle in heart and take the yoke of Christ- but only if we truly take time to understand God's heart. Why don't we start today by doing just that- take time to listen? He is always speaking...Benedict.

Girls=Beautiful Kites you may ask y...let me explain. Kites make you wanna go chase after them...and sumtimes, girls make guys do that too. =] and you see...kites kip flying higher and higher...it's sumtimes seems impossible to reach it. like girls. and when u see a kite, you will see its "tail"- the string...it's like i tink guys seem only to have a glimpse of girls' thoughts and cant really understand them. and as girls go even more difficult to comprehend as you pursue them, kites go higher- blown by wind as you chase...maybe. the wind represents factors?. what factors? i dunno. they are too hard to understand. haha..

Voice

Fire fall down,
On the altar,
Thunder in heaven,
Lightning above.

Yet, He's not there.
No, He's not there.

Still your heart
From the noises of Life.
Hear that still small voice
Can calm the raging seas.

And He's there.
In that voice.
Speaking to you and me.

And He's waiting.
For someone
Who would listen.
To Him.

I see Love...

Just came bac frm sec 3 bonding camp...was Fun and Enriching overall...except dat my voice was "totured" due to all the shouting and cheering. Amidst all the fun and activities and bonding between peers...there is 1 thing I think really stood out to me- I saw Love.

My group (8)'s instructor was a guy who just had a simple heart to Love others...and to see that everyone enjoys the camp. His heart attitude was manifested into his acts of kindness, friendly smiles, encouraging words, or something so simple as a pat on a shoulder. But to me, these meant much more, because I felt drawn to him because I saw Love.

I dunno whether this guy is a Christian...or whether he is just doing his utmost for the company that is organizing the camp...but I know...that he has what it takes to lead. Why? Simply, because he had a heart of love. The other instructors seemed to me to be more "vibrant" in the camp...as in, they were Loud, and had lots of charisma, and maybe, know how to lead & motivate better?

But...all these fade away when I saw Love in my instructor. Christians...have we been showing Love to people? Have our hearts been that of Christ, being moved to compassion when we see people hurting and suffering without Christ? And have we demonstrated Love? going the extra mile to help a person in need or just to give a listening ear?

All these goes a long way...because one day, Jesus will look at you and I and say, "My child, did you show love for me in your life?" We will ask- "What do you mean, Lord?"

And he will answer..."Whatever you did for one of these, you were doing it for me."

Unholy Passions? what are they? they are subtle "desires" that creep into your being when you are not aware of them. on the outside...u may be watching a TV show, reading a book, talking with friends...or simply day-dreaming...but if you are not careful- you will soon be overtaken by these desires- that are contrary to God's will. They have no other intentions but to spoil God's potential in you and prevent you from being that History-maker that God has in mind. We face temptations to allow these ungodly passions- such as Lust, Anger, Bitterness, Envy, Strife etc...into our lives everyday...if we want to make a stand for Jesus in our generation...let us KICK THEM OUT- whenever we notice them creeping quietly at the corners of our mind and heart. It could even mean something practical- stop reading a romance novel. stop watching a TV prog, walking away from "dirty" and unwholesome talk, shaking yourself away from idling. For Jesus...

What's the Lord to you?

Today...look inside your heart. Is God beautiful to you? Is He the "lily of the valleys"...the "One whom all fullness of grace and truth rest upon"?

I love e song, sung by the late Keith Green...

it goes like:

O Lord, You're beautiful,

Your Face is All I seek,

And when Your eyes are on this child,

Your grace abounds to me.

Let our hearts, in one voice, echo these words.

Benedict
