"Delight in the Lord, and He will give you theDesires of your heart. Commit your way in Him. Trust in Him. And He will make your way to shine..." This verse has never been more true to me than today. It's true. If we seek Him, commit our ways to Him, and surrender...He will prove Himself faithful yet again. He can never not show up. He always does. What is the desire of your heart? Commit it to Him. And take the risk to Trust. And very soon, He's gonna make you rise on Eagles' wings. "Trust in the Father, Trust also in Me." Will you?

Whom are you calling "Good"?

This will affect your life. The rich ruler refuses to sell off his possessionand follow Jesus- as many of us know. But, is it just because he is rich? I don't believe so. There is a root issue that needs to be resolved in his life.

In the first verse, the rich ruler calls Jesus- "Good". Jesus replied that "no one is Good. Except God." And that hints at a spiritual flaw in his life.

I believe the guy valued people very much in his life. He probably inclined his ear every time a motivating speaker is on stage, chased after the approval of respected men (whom he calls "Good"), and followed after those he believed were great (in the sight of the world?).

That is why he looks upon Jesus as a "Good" man. That is true. Jesus is. But, Jesus wanted to show the folly of putting our trust in man- who will soon "whiter away like grass". They will fail us. Only God will not.

Whom are you calling "Good"? Why not... we look to Jesus today? And indeed, "no one is Good. Except God."

His name is Jesus.
Saviour
My Best friend.

He gave His life.
